  • Contracting – A wide variety of contracts including risk-based healthcare provider contracting, software licensing and other vendor agreements, commercial leasing and employment agreements.
  • Leasing and Other Real Estate Matters – Negotiation of leases and related documents.
  • Business Formation – Formation of the entity (including selection of the appropriate type), guidance on licensure and permitting where required, negotiation of financing agreements and creation of a corporate governance program, among others.
  • HMO Startups and Expansions – Ground-up creation of a Medicare Advantage Organization, including state licensure and CMS approval, network adequacy guidance, applications for expansions of service areas and related activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Guidance on compliance with federal and state healthcare laws and regulations, including capital and solvency requirements, the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Laws and managing CMS and state regulatory audits.
  • Dispute Resolution – Resolution of contractual and other disputes, including working with affiliated litigation counsel where necessary.
