Paul has served as general counsel of leading managed care companies, serving as day-to-day counsel on a wide variety of matters relating to ownership and management of Medicare Advantage and Medicaid plans (including the largest plan in Puerto Rico) and affiliated MSO operations and provider clinics, as well as a wide variety of general corporate work. Paul has also served as counsel to independent provider groups serving Medicare Advantage and Medicaid beneficiaries.
Earlier in his career Paul served as General Counsel and then Executive Vice President, Acquisitions and Development, of a NYSE-listed owner, manager and developer of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
Paul also represents clients in other industries and started his legal career as an associate in the corporate department of Arnold & Porter (Kaye Scholer).
